I am an independent server administration and developer. I charge $85/hour for server administration projects and $55/hr for development projects. Small projects are billed on an hourly basis. Projects requiring more than five hours may be quoted on a project basis.

I provide as needed and on-call contracted server administration services. From system recovery after a hard drive crash to security auditing and analysis, system upgrades and migration to performance tuning and load balancing, I can help with most any system administration tasks.

I can provide customizations to many open source applications such as ZenCart, Mambo, Wordpress, Typo3 and phpMyAdmin.

Consulting

I provide consulting concerning the internet in general, ecommerce, security, web applications, systems architecture and database design and optimization. I have worked with startups from conception to acquisition, industry leaders and many different types of concerns in between.

Server Monitoring

I maintain a custom security, availability and performance monitoring console and provide basic monitoring for current clients at no cost. Advanced monitoring options such as specific service availability (mail, database, ftp, etc.), available disk space, security alerts and performance monitoring may be added for a small monthly fee.
